Continuing our kill streak through the Mogu’shan vaults with the Keeper of Champion Spirits, Feng the Accursed! After the tank crystals stopped being funny and allowed us to access their abilities, we managed to push through his draw flame weapon charges and finish him off after sacrificing half our raid to arcane velocity.
Progress demands sacrifice!
Big epicenters in this fight, but a distinct lack of burrowstrikes.
An update on our frontpage? It’s more likely then you think.
With the first week of leveling and exploring over, it’s time to start delving deeper into the new bastions of evil opening across the continent.
With that in mind, we immediately started a raid on the Mogu’Shan vaults on the night it opened. After spending several hours getting stoned with the emperors favorite guard dogs, we decided it was time to cut them into fine pieces for gems and loot and move on.
A great start from our first raid, let’s keep at it!
Unfortunately, this gunship encounter has little in common with the original encounter from Icecrown Citadel. The barrages from twilight dragons destroyed our ride several times, throwing us into the ocean below without even touching the boss.
Luckily, it didn’t take long for us to kill off all the twilight dragons, which forced the Warmaster himself to board our ship to finish us. The worst (and last) decision of his life.
Being a steep gear check it took some practice to get past Ultraxion on heroic. His increasingly high damage and low enrage timer lead to several frustratingly close calls, but in the end wasn’t enough to save Deathwings spoiled twilight pet.
This fight was a whole new ballgame, it took several attempts of tweaking marks and positions for black phase We ended up with a two reliable kill squads steamrolling through the flails and eyes, leaving us able to survive long enough to put another faceless general down.
After inhuman training sessions of demanding the nigh impossible, we were able to surpass the obstacle known only to man as Ice Walls. With victory assured in our grasp the lightning chains proved to be shockingly smooth.
Proving that an additional slime isn’t enough to keep you safe from our raid group, Yor’sahj the Unsleeping fell victim to a well armed pack of progression hungry wolves.
Congratulations to Wooty on finishing his legendary dagger set after abusing his position as loot master over several months!
With his new found powers to sprout cosmetic wings and slow fall off rooftops, he has become the rogue that Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now.
After gearing up on the normal modes and poking around on heroics in the 10mans we have begun our rampage through the 25man version of heroic Dragon Soul. We stopped Morchok and his evil twin in their assault upon the Wyrmrest temple, and now proceed onwards to face the destroyer!
Finishing up with the last thing we were missing this tier with the exception of Heroic Ragnaros. I’m sure everyone will remember the fantastic evenings we spent together trying to do a barrel roll with 25 people running around in circles.
Congratulations to everyone who got a Corrupted fire hawk, which as we all know, is much better then a pureblood fire hawk!
That’s it for Firelands! Next stop will be Dragon Soul, where we will have another meta achievement to have good times with!
